READ ME!!! Subscribing To The Forum
Forum Subscribe Now Closed.
Effective immediately, the Cub Forum will no longer allow open subscriptions.
Effective July 25, 2008 I will no longer allow subscriptions with Hotmail, Gmail, yahoo or other anonymous "FREEMAIL" or other generic addresses. You can change your profile to those addresses after you're subscribed, but for
subscription purposes, you will be required to use your provider email/ip address.
You must subscribe using the email address given to you by the internet connection host provider - the one that
provides you with INTERNET SERVICE.
Web Bots have now advanced enough to auto-subscribe/sign-up to forums that allow WWW home page links and are signing up to forums like this one and
posting their web sites as a form of advertising for all types of products and services.
The Cub Forum is not a repository for [Censored] sites and I will not tolerate them here.
I have closed the open subscription policy to the Cub Site Forum permanently.
If you would like to subscribe to the Cub Forum, you must send a - plain text - blank email to steve@nmpcs.com with ONLY the words Subscribe-Cubs in the subject. That means NO TEXT IN THE
BODY.
You will receive the reply shown below.
---------------------------------------
---Please reply to this message, including everything in and below this line.---
Please reply with your name, the username you wish to use - your username MAY NOT CONTAIN BLANK SPACES - on the forum and location. Any
username registered on the Cubforum that does not match the username in your reply will be deleted from the system.
Once your reply is received I will turn on registration and notify you that it has been turned on. It will remain on for **8 hours only** before it
is automatically turned off.
This process is necessary to keep unwanted [Censored] bots and other undesirables from attempting to gain posting rights to the Cubsite
Forum.
---------------------------------------
That means if you send a request to join the forum and then won't be available for a couple days - you waste your time and mine.....
Finally, if you're not sure what and how to post here, Click ------>> Here's a handy posting guide.

Yes!
Allright Steve! Thanks for solving that problem. There are some nasty people out there that don't care about anyone but themselves. Al.

Sometimes controlling the site is a problem in what is reasonable to make it usable and comfortable for most users without stepping on reasonable use
functions. This is one of those cases. Forcing new subscribers to go through a moderator is a problem when the site is essentially a one-man show.
I can't be available all the time so it may be a slower process but currently there's no other choice.
Frankly, I'm one mouse click to closing the forum to non-subscribers completely. I prefer not to do that because it limits participation of
those that want to just lurk. Tough decisions.
But regardless of any decisions concerning use of the forum, I won't continue to weed out the junk that doesn't belong here - I will not
tolerate perverted ads on my site.
One day I'll find a better way but it will take time - or money. Right now, the site costs too much to run but I want it up. Adding costs for
better software to run it is out of the question.
Hope it works out for everyone.

I have further clarified the email address you must use to register on this forum. I find it impossible to believe that anyone doesn't understand
the what and why of the requirement after all that's been said about it.
Try to beat the system and you will be banned from using the Cub Forum.
