How To Place Ads

If you would like to place an ad on the Tiger Cub Web Site, there are a couple things I ask you provide as a courtesy to me and to those that may be interested in what you have or need.  It's especially important to realize this Web Site serves Cub folks around the world, not just in your area, state, or even country.  Depending on what the item is, it may not be reasonable, no matter what the price is, for someone to ship across the ocean.  Generally, people would try to avoid buying, trading or selling from a seller or buyer in the US, if they're in Japan or Europe and would prefer not to waste anyone's time emailing back and forth to find out where your are.  The way to avoid that is by adding a reasonable amount of information in your ad.

This is what I prefer to see in an ad.  [See the example below].  Please put all the information you want in the ad in the body of your email request.  That way I can just copy and paste it onto the Web Site.  

NOTICE: I will no longer accept ads that do not follow conventional sentence case.  I have been taking the time to just change the case for most ads in the past but no longer have the time to continue to do so.  Conventional sentence case simply means each sentence starts with a capital letter, subsequent letters are lower case, proper names have the first character capitalized and each sentence ends with a period.

Part description - including year and models the part is known to fit.
What you want, or are willing to give for the part [money, trade or ??]
Your name
Your email address
Your location [note: if US, what state, if Europe, what country]
A phone number if you like.

This is an example of a perfect For Sale ad:

HI. I have the following project for sale:1965 Mountain Cub engine. Complete with compression. Comes with: 62 frame w /brake pedal and kickstand, gas tank and oil tank. Amal carb (376), 18 inch rear and 19 inch front wheels, handle bar. Back wheel has rust and needs re-chroming. Plus, heavy duty front forks. Engine shipped in wooden crate. If you don't include at least the basic information in the body of your request email, I won't post the ad and will email you asking you to provide the information, delaying how long it takes to get the ad placed.  You don't have to provide a phone number, but you must include everything else noted above.
