I am seriously searching for a restoreable 1958 T20J Tiger Cub. Jim Roberts in IL (847) 394-2478
I would like the latest model they made or during the 60's.I'm not sure when they quit making them. The later years had roller bearings on the crankshaft. The early ones had brass bushings and they were bad about throwing rods. They also made a "scrambler" version with the upswept pipe.I would consider one of those. In 1963 I had a 1957 Cub.I pushed it more than I rode it.I later sold it for $175.I wish I had it back. Thanks. Larry Miller.Prattville,Al.
Wanted, original paint, mechanically correct or documented restored Triumph T20 road Cub, preferably 60's vintage. Cash waiting for the right machine. I want to buy a complete Triumph Cub up to 1964 for conversion to a trials bike. I am willing to pay up to 800 pounds (United Kingdom) for a complete running bike. A road bike for conversion would be OK as would a basket case. I have a DOT trials (1959) and a Bullet Trials (1955) and just MAY be willing to trade. I live in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, England but can travel anywhere in the UK. Many thanks - Tom Pratt
