1958 T20 Road Cub

Hi Steve,
I have owned my 1958 T20 since 1983. I bought her for £23 (all the money that I had, well I was 17).
Restored her in 1991 and use her often to get to work. My dad had one new in 1958. It was also silver. I'm taking her to the school that I teach at tomorrow to fit her new engine with my Engineering club. I've lost the original engine. I gave it to a friend to rebuild, back in 1984 in exchange for me respraying his car. The paint job was great but he moved house along with my engine and lost contact. I would like it back one day, so if any one knows about it I would be grateful for any info. The original owner of my Cub is fit and well. He still lives in the same house in Merthyrtydfil, Wales. He gave it to his brother when he bought a bigger bike. He then gave it to the youngest brother.
Just swapped engines with John from the Isle of White. I had his 1963 engine and he had a 1958 engine in his bike. I bought the engine from an auto jumble, Beuiliegh in 1991 and he contacted me because I had registered the engine number with Mike Estall, Cub expert here. Thanks Mike!
Just bought a proper silencer, at last. Incidentally, I'm originally from Wolverhampton. A Midlands town where many Cub cycle parts were made.
Keep up the good work!
Best wishes
Nick Vass. Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.
