Ok here goes, but be warned you asked for it.

This was my first bike, bought from a girl who was trying to get her boyfriend to rebuild it for her (21 years ago) when I was 15, I thought it was the same as the one on the front of the haynes manual as it had no mudguards and was in a million pieces.

The bike arrived one dark night and was dumped in piles of rotting cardboard boxes on the back lawn.

I rebuilt it but made the mistake of just reinserting the so-called rebuilt motor.

The first trip out and it seized,(slit piston inserted back to front), then a few weeks went past with it running ok, then disaster struck, the clutch adjuster nut fell off when the bike was doing an indicated 65mph, punching the primary chain through the crankcase ------ 1 rebuild later with a rebuilt crank and five miles down the road and the big end went!

At this stage my patience ran out and I dumped it under a tarpaulin in the garden for five years (it went very very rusty).

Now rebuilt again and this time I did it all, it will still do 60mph quite easily but my wife has now adopted it she prefers it to her 400/4 so that's up for sale.

Yes I have got the side panels but my wife wont let me fit them(she says it looks like a scooter).

I have traced one of the previous owners who now lives in Hong Kong and he has sent me some nice details on his ownership, [Letter1 - Letter2] but unfortunately he cannot remember who he bought it from and the licensing company over here have destroyed a lot of early records.

I have 4 more cubs I am doing up now but having problems get some of the parts.

56 T20
64 T20
61 T20SL
64 T20SS

I am trying to find a T20M or SM to do up also.

If you can help I need front forks and air filter as for the SS the rest of the bikes are all missing small parts but I think I may find them locally.
