Comments: This model was the product of Triumph & BSA when they were amalgamated. It was really a BSA Bantam frame adapted to take the Tiger Cub engine. BSA simply wanted to use up their parts. It is a strange bike in that Triumph owners didn't like it because it had a BSA frame and BSA owners didn't like it because it had a Triumph engine. Pity because they are great little bikes and the cub engine, by then, had the new roller bearings and side mounted timing gears.
This bike was stored in a shed for 20 years or more but none-the-less started after a couple of pokes when petrol was added. It has done 1500 miles since being put back on the road and has never missed a beat. Obviously not the original colours, but it will be attended to eventually. It has its original registration and i have the original log book too.
